Porten was built by people who install doors — not people who sell them. Everything we do comes from 12 years of hands-on experience and a simple belief: if you're going to replace a door, do it properly the first time.
After 12 years of installing doors across British Columbia — and more than 2,000 completed installations — we kept seeing the same problem. Homeowners were getting beautiful doors on poorly prepared frames. Installers were cutting corners on weatherstripping, skipping the frame inspection, and leaving moisture pathways that would cause problems two winters later. And nobody was accountable when it failed.
We started Porten to do it differently. Not as a door showroom. Not as a general contractor with doors as a sideline. As a team that specialises in one thing — supplying and installing doors properly, start to finish — and stands behind every installation with our own warranty.
